An Update on Civic Pass

From time to time, we review our products to ensure we're meeting the evolving needs of our customers. After careful consideration, we've made the decision to sunset Civic Pass and shift our focus to a new suite of live products, and several currently in development.

Our Civic Pass customers have been notified of this change and advised on the necessary steps for a smooth transition. 

• CAPTCHA and Identity Verification will be discontinued on July 1, 2025, and
• Uniqueness and Liveness functionality will sunset on July 31, 2025.

We want to express our sincere appreciation to all of our partners and customers who have supported Civic Pass throughout its journey. Your trust and feedback have been invaluable to us.

We're looking forward to reallocating our resources to better serve the evolving identity needs of both consumers and businesses. This strategic shift allows us to focus on innovations that will have greater impact in the rapidly changing digital landscape.

What's Next: Our Civic Auth product has gained tremendous traction, and we're thrilled about its streamlined approach to log-in, embedded wallets, and setup that takes less than five minutes. 

We're also looking forward to the evolution of the identity layer into Agentic AI. We’re focused on simplifying secure access and powering the future with AI. Our mission is to deliver the fastest and most developer friendly Auth tools on the market—anchored in trust, simplicity, and security—while building a future where identity powers intelligent, agentic systems.
